5k Diesel FS

Ugly color...what?  I love my Mexico Beige 1980 Audi 5k.  My grandparents 
ordered that colour as they lived down a long gravel road and any other 
colour would look like it had a mud bath by the time they got to the house. 
The colour seems to survive sun exposure well.....much better than a Tornado 
"pink".  Silver also held it's colour well.
The Type 43s were available as a diesel (as well as turbo gas and 
normally-aspirated gas) in 1980-82 and a turbo diesel in 1983.  The change 
over to Type 44 was a total body revamp - there would be virtually no 
cross-over body parts, although you may find some cross-overs in the engine 
and drivetrain.  I have heard of some people taking the turbo diesel drive 
out of a Type 43 and installing it in a Type 44 - one guy near Ottawa did 
that with a 1983 5ktd and a Type 44 5ktq avant (I got the parts that 
remained).  The Type 43 5k is beautiful to drive, it really glides down the
