Accident in my 2001 A8 2 days ago. I have a ?? for you all????

As a prior A8 owner, here's the scoop;
Bolt on parts (fenders, front crash structure, etc.) can be done by any good body shop.  If it involves the space frame at all, then it must go to a shop with the certification and jigs from Audi.  There aren't that many in the country.  When we owned the 2000 and 2001 a8s new, the closest shop to me was in CT, about a 4.5 hour drive away, not including traffic!

My business is metal fabrication, and I can tell you that it's highly unlikely that any local body shop will have the real capability and experience to weld Aluminum.
