A tad late here but found this from a Fin:
"It's actually "Hakkaa päälle", another form is "Hakkaa päälle Pohjan
poika", or "Hakkaa päälle Suomen poika". Translations would be maybe
literally like 'Beat 'em', but the proper meaning is 'cheering' to battle,
or 'Attack!' "Pohjan poika" means 'Son of the North' and "Suomen poika"
'Son of Finland'."
And this from a Swede:
"And when finland was part of sweden the finns was our elit units called
"The Hakkapelites". Probably because they shouted that when they attacked."
Apparently today is Finland's Independence day, so best wished to the
Fin(n)s on the list.
Also happy St. Nicolas day to those who care.
