Coolant leak

Fill the tank up and put some cardboard or plastic under the car when parked. You might have had a small leak and didn't notice the tank going down over time until the light flashed. Having just done a timing belt it could be a radiator hose connection or the water pump or thermostat. Look for where it is dripping (A lot of coolant leaks won't drip when the motor is hot and coolant is under pressure). You must leave it overnight and look for the leaks. The hose to radiator leak is obvious to spot. If it is coming down the front of the oil pan or passenger side of the motor look at the hose connections to the motor, water pump or thermostat. If coming off the bell housing, check the rear heater hose from the motor connection. Everything except for the radiator connections are a pain in the butt to get to and fix. Just ask me, I've been chasing some minor leaks on my 2.8 for quite awhile now and think (knock on wood) they have all stopped.
