Audi sighting

I've been seeing a vintage Audi as I drive to a friends house nearby. Today as I passed the guy was going into his house. I honked my horn, pulled over and got out of my car. "I've been admiring your Audi" says me. "Oh, you want to buy it"? says he. 

He proceeds to tell me it needs brakes and a litany of other items. To tell you the truth, I stopped listening after brakes (already disappointed with his attitude). 

Is it a 90? No, he says, I think a 95. No I mean the model. "I don't know what it is, I bought it for $1000." Wish I'd gotten that deal, I think. 

"Oh, so you're not an enthusiast." I say. "Well, I like the car." He says. 

Depressed with his lack of interest in the conversation and his wife's glaring at me thru the door like I have five heads. I tried one last time, "Mine is a 1990." I got back : "It's in great shape." Not enough for any warm fuzzies.

And that was it. I bet I could buy that car for $500, but what would I do with two?
