2004 S4 Avant

Hi,
I'm looking into buying a used S4 Avant.  There are two for sale in Toronto, so I'm looking into flying there from Winnipeg and then driving one back.  One is a 2004 with 160,000 km, asking $19K and another is a 2005 with 104,000, asking $23K.  Both are manuals, the '04 comes with summers and winters, the summers on RS4 wheels, the winters on the stock wheels.  Anything I should watch out for in particular?  Should I steer clear of the '04, given the mileage?  Any advice would be appreciated.  I'd have about 24 hours of driving over two or three days to get the car back home, so I'd prefer to avoid any issues.
