Starter Motor Installation

My mechanic managed to install without taking of the negative cable from the
battery. He took off the 2 bolts holding the starter motor, letting the
starter hang from cables, then took off cable to solenoid. Used power
ratchet.

Like Huw said ...

You don't want to be in the position, having just arc welded the wrench to
the engine block, of trying to guess how long you have before your short
circuited battery goes supernova.
