solar charger hook-up

I treated myself to a solar battery charger, for the 200 Avant that doesn't
get used much.

The panel came with bare leads.  No problem, I'll just attach a cigarette
lighter plug to it. But... my electrical knowledge is challenged.

Do I attach the positive + output of the solar panel to the positive +
center electrode of the the lighter plug? Or should the + feed the
negative - side of the plug, to keep the electrons flowing from + to -?

It seems like a simple question, but it has me flummoxed.
