Yep, I had a 1976 Fox in high school, 120mph speedo. I think it would do 104
from the factory. Later I put a VR6 in there, then it would bury the speedo
;-) Obviously someone at Audi pulled a funny when putting these speedos in
there!

Yes, the brakes are right against the trans. Same in an E-type as well, and
some of the mid and late 60's JAg Sedans. I love the idea of the chassis
swap, though. Use a 4000Q or 90Q floor, I'd go NA 3.6 V8, and put the 2-door
body on it.
