Bent valve symptoms

So I assume the cams and lifters usually have little dammage most of the
time?  That's an interesting thought.  I think a B5 would be all but a
waste,  but a newer A6 or A4 circa 2002 or newer would work out alright if
you are looking at cost benefit of it all.  I'd say he 1.8t a4s or v6 A6s
with the 2.8 or 3.0s would be your best bets.

Obviously not a weekend fix, even.  Lots of tearing down then assessing the
damage,  and buying parts appropriately.
