I am running these on my S4 biturbo now. My previous tires were
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s, and prior to that I had Conti SportContact 2
(all in 235/40-18).
The ContiExtremeContact DW is easily the best riding tire amongst
them all, and very quiet. But it doesn't give up much in terms
of performance, maybe just a little bit less razor sharp than the
Eagle F1 GS-D3, but more than makes up for it in comfort. It also
has excellent traction in the wet.
The only thing I wish the CEC DW had was a more pronounced "rim protector",
which the Eagle F1 GS-D3 had. It helps reduce the likelihood of
curb scratches.
So all in all, I'm happy with it. The price is also attractive for
its class.
