I was towing a trailer from Ottawa Ontario to London Ontario through a snow
storm... towing smallest Uhaul trailer full of crap (my first wife...what a
nightmare). Her dad was a volvo nut ...had barn full of very kewl ones
including a wagon he was stuffing a 302 into.... so ..my experience was one
where the car would do 40mph with foot to the floor..and i had no choice but
to continue (thought i was killing the car! lol).. We made it safely...and
the seats left their mark as the best ever. ANother gal i dated had a V70
wagon that i quite enjoyed carving corners in... they are solid cars. The
240 i was in wasn't a turbo ...or a stickshift..different beast altogether
methinks!
