new b6a4 owner -- what do I need to know?

Bill, I think it's actually considered a B7 - the B6 was 2002 - 2005.5...

Use the right oil (Audi recommends Mobil1 0w-40 for my car) and OEM filter, and 
change the TB when recommended,
and you'll be fine!

Just bought a 2007 A4 quattro 2.0T auto, what I think you folks call a
"b6a4", about 30K miles.  Finally gave up on my XR4Ti.

All this talk about bent valves is making me nervous :-).

So, what do I need to know about this car?
