By-pass vavle ?

I used to be. A Shrapnel knob was an added feature of the old 10V WRX, but that didn't use a bypass valve.
Now I just use the boost levels Steve E built into the chip for the 3B (about 17-18). On the AAN it is as I bought it many years ago RS2'd and pulls 28 WOT in first and second.
What are the OEM units built to handle?
I noticed Javed 034 offers one for $99. Anyone testify to it's virtues? I think Javed and 034 does good business and makes good stuff.

ubject: By-pass vavle ?

What is the conventional wisdom regarding the cleaning and (if any)
ubrication of the aluminum by-pass valves? Any lube that won't interfere
ith sensors etc or gum up with use? Maybe a graphite dry type?
have a Forge AL valve that needs to be periodically cleaned, and if left
ry seems to be have a little drag in operation. The machining and quality
f this valve is very good and I might be getting another as I have 3 oem
lastic valves that are all ruptured. I have seen posts where many listers
ecommend the oem units, but they don't seem to hold up for me. TIA. Any
dvice appreciated.
