im sure it has everything to do with audi selecting the best fastener for
the job at hand. they dont seem to make any decisions in the interest of
ease of actually repairing. quite the opposite in most cases.
clearly they couldnt care less about requirign special tools, when every
basic procedure seems to need a vag tool.
im surprised there's no 'audi windshield wiper insert removal tool'
