Antenna V8

The radio antenna is usually on the left rear fender and should be
retractable, originally automatically retractable. So I'm going to assume
that you're talking about the short black fixed antenna on the right rear
fender and yes, you can unscrew it. It is for the cell phone in the armrest
and I have removed them altogether from all of mine since I don't think
anyone does anything with analog anymore. I had been leaving them for
emergency purposes, but started putting car covers on the ones that I stored
and just haven't replaced the antenna mast. I have actually removed the
handset from the armrest on one of them.

Happy 4th all,
I am unable to hand/hose wash my car where I live so I occasionally have to
take through a carwash. I believethe antenna should unscrew but it doesn't.
It's In there rock solid. Any suggestions on how I might coax it off?
