Some more info on this machine.

Just been told it started acting up after an oil change which was done by a Ford dealer. :P She used 
to run a Ford SUV so I guess stuck with the dealer.

Her husband was driving the car today to get it a Audi workshop and apparently some magic is 
happening such as when he shifts out of park into drive the mirrors start going back and forth. :D 
Car just stops dead after 20 minutes.

She's found a place that'll help, but I'm going to hit QW anyway for further recommendations.
