Fay, this seems like the best solution for you. Personally, I don't think I 
would buy a used (newer) Audi unless it was a CPO car.

Hi everyone .... someone wrote kidding me about my perpetual car shopping ...  
LOL

yes, it does seem a bit nebulous !

I was going to buy an Audi for about $5-7K a couple of months ago
and my hubby really needed a trailer for his tools, skate sharpener, etc.
He was putting that stuff in and out of his truck..... Way too heavy.
Got a deal on a nice horse trailer.   And his phone wasn't working so I got
him latest and greatest.

Now I can concentrate on my Audi

I was thinking along the same lines til I learned he might get
some extra $ so this is plan B for July, August, September, etc.

Audi A 4, 2007, 2008 or 2009

I'm going to get a CERTIFIED with warranty at
N. Scottsdale Audi dealership ... they add
2 years and up to 100,000 miles past the factory
warranty and it is an AUDI warranty, not
third party.

So any where in US the warranty
will be honored.  With mileage under 50K I'm
looking at $22k - 27K or there abouts.

Obviously maintenance is my responsibility,
but if expensive things go bad, I'll have some
sort of backup this time.

After my last fiasco with the Audi from the
Audi tech in Tucson my plan is to get a
certified Audi .... I should be able to get
2-3 years more out of the car and then I'll trade
to another warranty car.

Now, the hitch is we may end up having Jim's
wind fall in litigation because of fraudulent
relative who forged his signature years ago ....

So I might have to go to Plan C,

I HOPE NOT !

Crossing my fingers as I really need a nice
car for my work.
