[s-cars] Water Wetter

Yes, I know how it's supposed to work, but it just never seems to be close to
the same temp as the outside air, unlike the
system in my old Jetta, which was a basic HCAV system. Perhaps that drew air
from somewhere other than through the

engine compartment. Maybe that is the issue. That, and I need to get the
regulator in my driver's window fixed so I can
actually open it and be assured that it will close....!

On ECON, set the temp to LO and it should be nothing but outside air coming
thru. However, the outside air will still be affected by the engine
compartment heat, unlike outside air coming from the open window.

Sounds like a clogged radiator to me if the fans are working.

AC will be the first thing to stop working when the car starts to overheat.
Try blasting the heat next time it happens.
