Water Wetter

Tony, I agree with your points about heat indexes and what not. Also,
keep this in mind, the car is a '98 and one never knows with age,
since it is on a rebuilt starter, original alternator, new battery,
the replacement engine had 70K on it when I bought it, and I have
close to 135K on the body, and the rest of the drivetrain
(transmission, clutch, etc).

Yes, my TSi was a first gen DSM. Black and the obligatory tint.
Racing clutch, big brakes (slotted and drilled),racing camshafts,
larger intercooler, racing CV joints, stiffer suspension, lowered an
inch, thicker anti-roll bars, airbox cut out, racing exhaust, racing
seatbelts, etc. *note, the 'racing' gear was from the Eagle
performance parts catalogue- I used to work at a Jeep/Eagle dealer.
This beast was amazing, embarrassed enough f-body cars (trash
cans,Z-28's, etc). It wasn't "rice," it was more "q-ship." Never a
problem with it, it was bulletproof.

Sold it with over 155K on the odometer, when I bought it, it had 50K.
I sold it to an 18 year old- BIG MISTAKE! I cautioned him about
getting used to it, prior to hitting the "loud pedal," he wrapped it
around a tree the first week. Car was totaled, he was banged up with
some broken limbs, but it is what it is. I do miss that car, but it
did lack in the "Teutonic feel."

Next time I wash the A4, I am going to blast the condenser, but can I
do it from the front? I can only go to a DIY place.
