My recommendation would be to go for a mid-90s dodge diesel truck. Dually if
it can be had is always preferable for trailers and large payloads. Older GM
trucks have massive electrical problems (my Grandma's GMC actually had a
wire fire!). Ford makes a good unit as well and are easy to find, but the
Cummins straight six has a whole lot of torque.
