I guess most of you don't have many black rubber parts anymore. But I'm still hoping I can get some help with this. The bumpers and moldings are, naturally, faded on the '90. And, I believe they've been touched up at least once - some peeling is taking place. Sanding first? How much? How? With what exactly? I appreciate your advice on this subject.

Dee, when I hd my 90V8, I painted the black parts of the bumpers with simple Rust-Oleum satin black after priming with auto primer. Looked great and lasted as long as I had the car. I have painted the lower sides (rockers) of many an Audi with the same and it has also held up great. If it's a true rubberized part painting isn't going to get it. Try cleaning with a mild soap with a soft brush then using any rubber/tire protectant/gel. Back to Black is good for restoring the color as well.
