Audi sighting

I think there are two groups.  Those who decided to go upscale from a Camry
and those who want to roll on 19s and have a huge intercooler protruding
like an under bite.  Neither tend to notice the older cars.

As a kid my parents had a 72 VW camper.  People would wave from the opposite
side of the interstate.  Later we got an 84 Westy and we still go those
waves from the old campers and vans.  For the most part the Westy people
never waved however.  In the late 90s my dad parked nose to nose in a
parking lot with a Westy with exact same trim level and color.  When he came
out it was gone. So was two of his hub caps and both of his Wolfsburg
edition badges.
