What have you guys used for fuel pumps?

I've pretty much confirmed I've got a bad pump. No matter where I adjust the
external fpr this 200 has, the pressure does not change. And with 12v at the
pump, I got just under 300cc's flow, which iirc is drastically low.

What id like to know is, how the heck am I supposed to remove the whole fuel
pump assembly w/o the special audi tool (this has the 43mm pierburg btw)

And

What are some affordable fuel pump options for me to use in this car?
Definitely not afraid of some tinkering to get something to work, as long as
it can hold up to some of the "mo powah" mods I plan, ie, more system
pressure and such.
