5000 turbo wastgate exhaust pipe

Anyone ever heard of making the wastegate have its own exhaust pipe instead of dumping into exhaust. Wonder if it would sound good or just sound like shit? My idea was to cut flange off downpipe cover and weld spot then run smaller pipe straight down off wastgate. Any ideas what it would sound like?
