And, there are a lot of states that don't do inspections at all. It all
depends on where you live, etc. I know for a fact that currently Rural Texas
and all of Oklahoma, Montana, and Wisconsin (except Milwaukee last I knew)
either have no inspection or none in regards to emissions etc. Most states
that do inspections go by a 25 year old rule, so the 88 would still require
inspection in those states as well.
I can say that there is no way you will get any sort of older diesel engine
to meet the stock 5000TQ emissions :(
