5/8" Pressure line for power steering?

Hey all,

I am replacing the power steering line from reservoir to pump on my 84 4000 quattro. Currently it has part# H10110 "5/8" inner diameter high pressure line" installed but I cannot for the life of me track down a supplier that sells this by the foot. Only thing that comes close is an entire spool of 50' for over $190. 

1) Does anyone know the max pressure in PSI that the power steering system puts out? 
2) Anyone know where I can find this stuff by the foot?
