Yes, that is what he means, hammering them outside. I also have used a
larger torx socket hammered inot the center. Also, vice grips on the
outside help a lot, fi you can get them in there. And, if they seem to be
stubborn to begin with, I'll first heat teh flange around each bolt with a
propane torch.
