1. It looks to be the same design as the type 44's, as well as the B6 A4's,
but not the B5's.
2. dont know, but eliminating the rear moffler for straightpipe added no
power but good sound to the V8Q. On the highway it was a bit tiresome,
though. No additional power, though. The factory muffler on that is
basically two glass packs in one case, pretty free flowing. Never cut an
A8's open, though.
3. 35W, no Audi that I've worked on yet has had 55w, and that includes the
RS6 (have two customers with them, both 35W)
4. No idea
5. Pull the upper plug on the rear diff, fill with proper fluid till it
comes back out. Do this on level ground.
6. No idea
