Driving the car today and the heater core ,let go. That steam doesn’t feel to great on bare legs. Instant fogging of the windows. Grabbed the crank for the sun roof, windows down and find a spot to park. Thankfully I cruised into Home de Pots parking lot. Call AAA and had the beast towed home.
I don’t need the heater, Honolulu, never will. I know you guys and gals feel real bad for me. What I want to do is plug both in and out hoses, at the outer firewall. Now I think that will work, but many of you have more experience with similar problems.
Am I right or wrong? Should I do the above or should I run a hose from the water pump to the cylinder head. To me running the hose is not necessary, as no water goes from pump to head, unless the selector is turned to hot.
Any suggestions?
