87 5000 loosing power sometimes

I didn't mean to imply the engine was overheating, although it was 
getting past the mid point on the gauge. This trip is ~3000' climb in 
elevation over 10 miles. So most cars warm up a bit doing it. I just 
thought that since the engine was working hard, pulling air in right by 
the turbo because the air horn was missing, might make the power thing 
worse.
