Audi buys Ducati

Very interesting thread.  I've driven Audi's since '86, and a BMW motorcycle for 4 years, and have yearned for a Ducati since a friend let me take his new 900 SuperSport for a spin in early '90 something (yes, a very good friend).  I've even test ridden a couple with intent.  They are awesome, finicky machines designed around Italian 'Little People'.  At 6'4", there is no way I could do 100 miles on a Duc. Picture the bear at the circus riding the trike.

A post-Audi Lamborghini is a better car that a pre-Audi Lambo.   Maybe Audi will see that they design a Duc that fits me like a quattro. Not that I don't like my BMW, but a BMW is like a BMW, and Ducati is like a Ferrari, and I can't see a 4 wheeled Ferrari in my future.
