recommendation on good degreaser for engine, chassis, etc?

For wheels - mostly keep them clean. Brake dust can be caustic. I will use simple green. But i have found that "wheel wax" is a worthwhile effort - unlike regular wax it hardens with heat cycling.

Avoid most wheel cleansers - they are acids and your wheels are painted. Treat them as paint.

For engine bay, simple green.

For suspension.  Did you say suspension? You want to clean the underside of your car?
Maybe the prodigious quantities of alcohol you must be consuming! :-)
