A non-toxic temporary band-aid solution for a tiny hole is egg white and/or
any paprika - ground dry peppers, hot or otherwise.

A dude I sold my '88 90 q to had a steaming rad. He drove with egg white
for about 30K kms, even after I offered to swap a new rad in it. He didn't
want to pay for the rad.

BTW, a whole egg works, too, just the yolk stiffens together in a ball and
does nothing in terms of sealing.
