I lived in NH for 15 years and still own my second home there. I have always
called NH the state without a conscience. The selling of state booze and
happily arresting you for using it is one reason.
We are still going to retire there.

So much for 'living free or dying' I guess.... In my visits to my son in
Keene, I can't believe some of the rust buckets and
junkers I see driving around the area with current inspection stickers... I
figured that was just the price paid to live in a state
that doesn't mandate helmet wearing for motorcyclists but will gladly sell
you booze at discounted prices!

(And I love NH...)

It is often overlooked, just as wiper/washer functionality often is.

A friend around here has an ex-drag race car, a Monte Carlo, that won't 
take a sticker easily since so much of the heater/defroster system was 
gutted.
