Doesn't need to be super strong, Huw.  It is a piece of a push button 
type thingy which activates a rotary gadget inside a food 
processor.  It does a simple job just by occupying space with 
essentially zero off center forces.  No excess material on hand to 
play with but we do, I find out now, have a spare piece for the food 
processor thanks to the better half finding a spare at a yard sale a 
while back.

I love her, that's why.  ;-)
