4000 Quattro stuck in neutral w/ stiff clutch pedal

OK, o if the clutch is engaged and you then engage the starter, the car will lurch forward.

I heard nothing about that.  It may start, it may not, i see no connection between whether the motor starts and if the clutch is good.

Maybe being to precise and literal, but that was the statement.
