Symptoms of clutch going? Squeaking sound in front

Ok, latest update. On acceleration after upshifting from second to third,
and releasing the clutch, the rpms "blip" from 2500-4250 +/-. Is this the
"slipping" Louis is referring to?
I am a bit naive to this, since I never had a clutch go in my 26 years of
driving.
