I'm not sure a bad cold start injector would show this behaviour : it
injects supplementary for only 30 seconds when the engine is dead cold...
And if it doesn't work, engine will simply not start at all below freezing.
Looks more like a temp dependent mixture problem to me.

Pretty sure this is the cold start injector. You should be able to remove it
to watch for spray during cold starting conditions. More likely it is
wiring. My guess as to why wiring is based on no history leading up to the
problem. A clogged injector would happen over time. Electrical failures are
sudden and instant.
