Thanks to all for the info on the Ignition Switch. I did previously try to return it to the run position but that didn't do anything. After reading your replies and concentrating on the switch, I found that after starting, and returning the key to run position, if I turned the key a little toward the start position again, the lights , wipers, etc all would work. It looks like a new switch is in order.
