'87 4kq running poorly

Coule be a multitude of things, but sounds like a bad connection somewhere.
I'd start with checking the ECU grounds on the intake manifold. Then, just
wiggle things while the car is running, adn see what, if anything affects
it. Maybe the hall sender wiring, maybe a corroded connection on the coil,
maybe something else.
