I say keep the car, get a Jorgen rack and DIY. Or run it into the ground
with generic ATF

You might curse and bitch for a few/several hours doing it, but can be done
with generic tools and patience. maybe a good friend?...  Plus cost of
alignment and probably new tie rod ends..

I don't generally suggest mixing fluids, but your intentions may vary. I've
never seen a leak (from your description) that bad get any better, unless a
banjo bolt mysteriously worked its way loose after 25 years..

Keep an ear out for that pump going dry in the meantime
