I'm not too sure why you want to direct wire it, as just resoldering has
fixed every one I've worked on. However, if you are determined to, here's
what I have for info:
You will have to follow the solder traces to figure on the actual speedo
head, as Huw mentioned. Or, if you can wait, I'll have mine out
to replace some burned out bulbs within the next month or so.
All speedo conections are through the black connector on the cluster.
Speedo + Terminal 11, Black/Blue wire. This comes from fuse 26.
Speedo Cruise out Terminal 2, White/Blue wire. This goes to the cruise
module.
Speedo signal in Terminal 4, Brown/Red wire. This comes from sender in the
trans.
The remaining pin is the ground.
