AFAIK that was a 3.89 vs 4.11 gear box.
The Guru's would know.
You could ask Chris Semple at Force5 auto in Concord NH.

charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowedIn the last couple of months,
after the speedo in my 4kq failed, I've been through a couple of wrecking
yard instrument clusters. In both of them the speedos failed in fairly
short order. I came up with another cluster (from a non-lister) and sent it
off to North Hollywood Speedometer to be gone over.Today NHS touched base
with me, and it seems that below the tripmeter reset knob there's the text
W=1580. They need to know the corresponding text in my OEM speedometer so
they can swap out the gears if necessary to make the one I sent them read
correctly. Unfortunately I no longer have the OEM speedo. The speedo I have
in there now seemed to be accurate until it failed, and it says W=16 50,
but I don't want to give NHS the go-ahead just on the basis of that.Anyone
out there with a 4kq--what does it say on your speedo? Thanks.
