Speedometer for '87 4kq quattro

I'm willing to bet none of this actually matters.

The speedo feed on the tranny is on the FD, right, so doesn't vary by 
ratios?

I've used many random speedos on my Coupe (that sounds so wrong!), and 
they were all accurate.

Just give them a number to make them happy ;)
