I'm in west Canada, interior of BC, where Detroit iron and the odd Subaru
rule. Yesterday was at a junkyard 500 km away and found 3 VW's - all with
missing sensors, 1 along with the whole tranny.

This thing is easy to take off - unplug a harness and take off a bolt with
10 mm head, then turn and pull it out. Tranny fluid might gush out, if
present. Access is good under the hood.
If a kind soul should run across and snatch 1 of those, I'd appreciate it
muchly and, of course, reimburse expenses - hope to keep it within
reasonable budget.

I've been bringing to life this Eurovan that didn't run due to dry tank and
hesitant fuel pump among many other issues. Mileage is low but exploitation
seems to have been rough-ish and maintenance sketchy. Any help to keep it
from being parted out will be appreciated.
