Charcoal Canister Delete?

I'd be surprised if they were different, I would think that it would be less expensive to fit the same sealed system to every car,
than it would be to have 2 separate systems - which could then make more complex the distribution system for sending the
cars to one dealer versus another (i.e., monitoring which states can sell PZEV and which can't, etc).

My point was that the "NON-pzev" cars are mechanically identical to the "PZEV" cars, from what I understood (and I could be wrong).  And the 5 cyl. VW (2.5L) was my quoted reference (since we own one).  Obviously there is MORE to PZEV than the fuel system, but that was really the focus of my "identical" commentary, not the ECU tuning, etc.

After all, Audi has been using sealed, pressurized EVAP systems since at LEAST 2000.  From the fuel system (only) standpoint, that's one of the keys to being PZEV.

But in many regards, Cody is right.  My only point was that the fuel systems in newer (last 10+ years) are already sealed EVAP systems, and I *thought* those fuel systems are identical between non-pzev and pzev cars.

**AVAILABLE** as PZEV optionally, but again is is illegal for them to be sold anywhere near here (New York is closest) so in fact there are very very few PZEVs here.
