Hi all,
I'm about to leave the Audi world behind, I'm sad to say, so I'm selling
out. I have an 87 5kcstq that I've had since it was a baby, with about 150
kmiles on it. The last time it ran (appr. 12 months ago), it ran strongly.
I'm sure it's something minor and I promise I'll get it running and
smogged before sale. It's Toronado Red and very straight. It has been
strictly a California car. Paint is semi-okay; it would probably look fine
from 20 feet away after a good clay-barring and waxing. Dash is cracked,
but I've got a nice replacement that I'll throw in.
I also have an 89 200tq 10v Avant, also in Toronado Red and with around
the same mileage. The ECM is chipped and this car very fast for a 10v. It
has clear coat cancer and would need at least the hood resprayed, but a
total respray wouldn't be a bad idea. It is also very straight and has a
cracked dashpad (for which I don't have a replacement). This was a
Pennsylvania car until around 1998 and has been in California ever since.
Complete Bentley shop manuals will go with each, and I have some
miscellaneous parts, like an intercooler, an ECM, an Avant tail light lens
(one of the Avant's lenses has a small crack in it), and a grille.
BTW, I've run Mobil 1 in both cars since forever.
I can't bear the thought of them going to a breaker; I just want to find a
good home for them, so name your price if you're interested.
I'm in the LA area, by the way.
Larry
