about fuel economy

I recently came across this thread on vwvortex:

The discussion is 5 pages long and lasted over two months with none
posting any personal experience.

I decided to call the number. Here is how it went approximately

Owner: Are you calling because you heard about me on the .... (major
radio show which happened to be on at that moment with ads)?
I: No I've been following your company for over several years and this
is first time I am calling to find any definitive confirmation that
device works on latest computer controlled engines. (I know there are
tests done as early as 80s proving success on carburettor equipped
engines.).
Owner: Please don't call me any more. I am very busy, I have plenty of
happy customers. I am sold out ... etc., etc.

While national fuel saver web site is alive and well the hhotek.com,
the huntertechllc.com and one of its main distributors Go Green Fleet
Solutions web sites are all either down or expired or changed content.
The hhotek owner personal cell phone number has a new owner for about
6 months.

To make long story short I would like to ask if any lister knows
anything *first hand* about this device effectiveness on older Audis.
Please don't theorise about this particular product. It has already
been done in many places. I would like actual personal results only.
