Clicking in the Fuse Box

I'm not really the Audi expert, but for older VAG products I like to reseat
as many electrical things as possible. Pull the relays and plug them back
in.
The clicking could be resulting from poor grounding. Don't know about your
Audi but some VAG products have grounding lugs behind the dash that corrode.
Basically any connection point is a source of failure, on the ground or hot
side. Only other possibility is the area where wires flex, like the door
jamb and trunk lid.
Like the others said, find the specific clicker. Then get a hold of a
wiring diagram and try to make some sense of it.

When the noise is there, a mechanics stethoscope will help you pinpoint
the source of the noise. A second option would be to start pulling out
the relays until the noise goes away.
